The Artwork’s Story - The road stretches out towards the wide open horizon where limitless possibilities lay ahead. Being on a roadrip is often the perfect time to day dream as we’ve shaken off the shackles of our ‘everyday’ and everything feels obtainable and possible. Sometimes in life we just require a mindset shift to truly enjoy and appreciate the journey. This landscape is inspired by the works of Hockney, and the pattern in the puddle in the foreground gives the surreal illusion of the landscape falling away like something you would see in a dream. Because sometimes our reality can feel so beautiful we can almost feel we are living in a dream state.
