Acrylic on canvas, 50 × 50 cm. Within a black wooden surround.

The inspiration - A couple have sought shelter from a looming storm beneath the tranquil sheltered area under a giant feather that stands tall like a tree. Feathers have many symbolic meanings to them, one that is particularly significant here - is that feathers often appear to us as if someone is protecting or watching over us. It’s up to you to form your own interpretation of what this painting can mean to you - that is the beauty of art - it’s open to interpretation.
