The Artwork’s Story - I’ve playfully included the playing card designs in this original painting of the Houses of Parliament. Which was historically run by Kings, Queens, and more recently Jokers!! (Jokers -also known as politicians!!) This has an almost surreal Alice in Wonderland quality with the playing cards and the patterns used.

The Artwork’s Story:
‘Escape to the coast for hedonism & vibrancy.’
Brighton, known as London-on-sea, where the buzz and hedonism of the big city meets the freedom of the coast. After living in this vibrant city I wanted to paint it in my own unique style to celebrate the magic and vibrancy of the place. Hints of Art Deco and pop art elements combine in this unique contemporary yet timeless vision of Brighton pier.

The Artwork’s Story - This spot in Walton-on-the-Naze was surreal, never-ending rows of beach huts staggered up the hill. I have included a silhouetted couple who sit up on the wall enjoying the warmth of the summer sun in this idyllic seaside depiction.

The Artwork’s Story:
(Based on Norwich)
What does it mean To build Castles in the sky? To create dreams, hopes, or plans that are impossible, unrealistic, or have very little change of succeeding. As children we’re advised against our outlandish ideas, we’re told:
Don’t live your life with your head in the clouds, as you’ll be destined to build castles in the sky.
Don’t live your life on the side of caution, go do it anyway…….who knows what beautiful plans of yours will flourish, and if some fail, then at least it was a beautiful journey along the way. But you have to be outlandish in life, you have to dream big. So dream BIG.
